All candidates for Mayor of the County of Hawai'i have been invited to participate in a unique candidates forum.  The purpose of this event is to bring information regarding the Hilo Bay Watershed and the Island of Hawaii to both candidates and the general public.  This educational opportunity will be highlighted by a keynote presentation by Jim and Sonia Juvik, UHH professors and authors of The Atlas of Hawai'i. The format of the evening will be more that of a "legislative update" than the typical forum format. There will be an opportunity for the candidates to ask questions regarding the Hilo Bay Watershed and watershed-related issues. Audience members may also submit questions on these topics.

The Aupuni Center Conference Room is a part of the new County of Hawai'i complex just across the street from the American Savings Bank on Pauahi Street.
