The presentation will focus on the highlights from the UHH 2007-2008 water quality study and new research endeavors using YSI sondes. New research will focus on surface mapping to examine spatial water quality trends within Hilo Bay, and development of real-time continuous water quality monitoring through the deployment of a buoy with a water quality sensor.
- Dr. Tracy Wiegner is an Assistant Professor of Marine Science at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Dr. Wiegner earned her Ph.D. from Rutgers University and B.S. from Cornell University.
- Dr. Jason Adolf is an Assistant Professor of Marine Science at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Dr. Adolf earned his Ph.D. from University of Maryland College Park, M.S. from UH Manoa, and B.S. from Roger Williams College
