Storm drain stenciling continues
"Do Not Dump" notices are being stenciled at all street-side storm drains.
Storm-drain stenciling is under way throughout downtown Hilo, including Lili‘uokalani Park, with local students doing the work. "Do Not Dump -- Flows To Ocean" is being stenciled in blue paint on all street-side storm drains, thus reminding people that what they put in a street drain directly affects the quality of Hilo Bay's water. The Hilo Bay Watershed Advisory Group is supplying materials and support.
